A: We take data protection very serious and with this in mind the customer has complete control of their privacy.
Steps taken are:
- The use of the AFP code.
- When you log into the Home OK APP, you create a password, you are responsible to keep this safe and not reveal it to anybody.
- Data is analysed and computed on the gateway only sending the important moment to the cloud
- Camera and data images are end to end encrypted, only the user has and controls access to these images, at no time does a Home OK agent have access to these.
- When support is requested to be activated, a support agent can only see raw data, never any images. This data is only used to provide support, once the support is deactivated, the agent no longer has access to the data.
